Patagonia wetsuits feature high-quality Japanese superstretch neoprene that you won't find in any other suit on the market. The interior is coated with a silky nylon coating that feels great against the skin. Smooth skin coating on the torso and back reduce evaporative cooling in windy conditions. Neoprene underarm panels are backed by nylon jersey on both sides for better stretch while paddling. All seams are triple glued and blindstitched for durability.
Patagonia does wetsuits differently. They stand behind every suit with a lifetime warranty (does not cover wear and tear, of course.)

I bought this vest for outrigger canoe paddling, but have also used it in place of a rash guard for surfing. It's very stretchy and easy to get in and out of. It's also reasonably warm, and fits perfectly.
If, however, I had it to do over I might buy it from another company. Shipping took about a week even though I live only about 50 miles from WSW. When I e-mailed asking where it was I did not get a reply. Having been CEO of three companies with retail web sites, I am amazed that such poor customer service still exists.
