I use this for Paddle Boarding. I have a full Oneil wetsuit that I use for surfing but I was getting too hot in it for Paddle Boarding since you don't touch the water as much. I often wear just my swim trunks here in Southern California. However, when it gets cold and a little windy all it takes is one dip in the water to ruin the session. I thought this short wetsuit would be the good middle ground. It was cold the other day and I used it for the first time. When I went in for a dunk, it was still a cold shock at first because of my exposed legs and arms but almost no water got in the suit and I was comfortably warm pretty quick after getting back up. I never felt too hot and the suit felt a lot more flexible than my full suit. Overall, I think it was a good purchase ... although, I have only used it once so far.

I bought this SGX springsuit for diving in Belize. It is amazing. This wetsuit is everything they say it is. It's light and totally non-restricting, fits like a glove, and keeps me very warm. It is also a flattering item to wear, makes my body look hot, like Italian clothing or something. They say it takes half an hour to dry, and that's true, but it'll still be slightly damp on the inside, so I just turn it inside-out once for a few minutes before I store it or put it on again. It's very stretchy. This is helpful because you have to crawl in through the neck to get into it. Getting your arms & shoulders into it will take some squirming, likewise taking it off, and if I'm tired I'll ask my sweetheart to help pull it off my arms & shoulders. A small complaint really. It does fit snugly and the seals around the arm & leg openings do prevent flushing, so much so that I recommend letting some ocean in through the neck and legs to flush your urine out before taking it off, but if you wear it directly into a shower I guess that's not necessary. I love this wetsuit. I will be buying another SGX, maybe a 4/3 full suit, for bodysurfing in California.
