The NeoSport ION racing suit is an awesome addition to our triathlon department, and what a sweet deal! The ION is designed to stay on through all 3 events, which will greatly reduce transition times if you are currently changing clothes after the swim portion of a race. Constructed of a low drag compression material, the ION dries fasts, breathes really well, and wicks moisture from the skin. A synthetic chamois crotch area dries very fast, and is low profile for the run. The ION also offers UV 50+ protection from the sun, and a built in bra for extra support.
*Designed to be worn under any wetsuit for the swim, but can be worn alone for non wetsuit legal events (functions as a swim skin)

Every New Year's Day I participate in a Polar Plunge in CT. This was perfect coverage for this time year. The fit was true to size & very flattering.

This is a great suit and works very well. It kept me a lot warmer than a regular suit but not too hot. The only thing I would like is to have the "pull" on the end of the zipper slighly longer. If they would change that, it would be a perfect suit.

I've only used it once in a pool, but it was great! Kept me warm in fairly cold water, provided enough buoyancy to make swimming easy, and I still had great range of motion.
Buy the suit based on pant-size, not height/weight. I'm 6'1" and 165, but got the 9/10 - fits like a glove!

I bought this suit for my 1st triathlon and I thought is was great, kept me comfortable and dry BUT, the only thing I had a tough time with is the zipper is in the back and in the middle of the tri I had a bad time getting it unzippered !!!

I'm training for my first Triathlon and didn't want to go all out and invest in a full body wetsuit. 1) it's in July 2) I'm not going to be breaking any swim records. For a beginner I wanted something a little more versatile. Something not just commited to the water. This wetsuit is perfect. I have worn it several times not just swimming alone but running and biking (which is what it's designed for, I know. But it's great for all three sports by themselves). There's literally no time spent transitioning (unless you're switching out foot apparal) It's well worth the $$ and very comfortable. I highly recommend it. You'll use it still once you move on to your super duper full body wetsuit :)
