Billabong has completely revamped the Foil line of wetsuits this year, and they did a really nice job for the price point! This wetsuit features 100% superstretch neoprene for excellent flexibility in the water. They beefed up the stretch by adding top of the line "ZG300" superflex to critical pivot points, and eliminating some unnecessary seam panels. A new water resistant zipper, combined with internal zip flaps and sealed seams help keep the cold water from flushing the suit. The chest is lined with a thermal poly fleece lining that wicks moisture from the skin while adding some extra insulation. Also features: chafe resistant collar, adjustable neck, internal key loop, durable kneepads, and a FREE 3mm bibbed hood.

I've been wearing the suit into the mid-high 50's water so far and have actually opened the zipper on one occasion to cool off. It's kind of a pain to get off, but most jumpsuits are.

Excellent suit! Have worn it daily the past two winters in low-mid 50 degree waters, and am very happy with the warmth and flexibility of this suit. On a side note, my Billabong 5/4/3 has outlasted the two previous high end ($400) 4/3 suits of a different manufacturer. Am buying a second suit on wetsuitwarehouse today.

Shipment came asap...just in-time for a great week of surfing at Rincon, CA. The suit fits great and the hood is for sure a bonus...I wasnt sure about the hood but my head really appreciates the warmth. Cant go wrong.

fair garment for the price.
the velcro will grab the terry liner unless you carefully fold over the tab.
i would prefer if the suit was a straight 5mm. there seems to be mostly thin rubber on the legs and arms.
hood is a little binding and tight, but functions well.
back zip is a little inflexible against my spine.

My son and I had been renting wetsuits for surfing the Washington coast. This suit is much nicer and warmer than any we have rented. I bought a suit for both of us and we are very happy with them.
