4/3mm Men's Quiksilver CYPHER CHROMA Wetsuit
4/3mm Men's Quiksilver CYPHER CHROMA Wetsuit
Stand out on a beach of black wetsuits with the Quiksilver Monochrome special edition wetsuits! The Monochrome suits are not only stylish, they are also well designed performance suits. The suit is made of Fiberlite neoprene (100% superstretch) with a biofleece interior to wick water away from your skin and provide a little extra insulation. Wrist and ankle seals help prevent flushing and a glideskin neck seal provides resistance to flushing at the neck and helps prevent rashes. Seams are glued and blindstitched to keep the cold water out and taping reinforces the seams. An awesome suit! Get them while they last.

I surf in southern San Diego counties year round, so the water hovers around the sub 60 degree range most of the time. This suit holds up to frigid mornings like a champ!
The improved Cypher arm/leg cuff traction dots are awesome, they prevent the cuffs/sleeves from moving up when bailing.
The improved low profile collar is probably the best addition to the line, as now the collar is lower (just below my adams apple) now, giving a better flush-proof seal.
I'm stoked its not black, the chroma color is bad ass, but once wet it might as well be black or close to it...
Entry is a bit tight due to the geometry of the zipper and flush seals, but once one arm is in the suit will pretty much snap into place.
Seams all visually look good, internally and externally. Upon the first few surfs I noticed a few pinhole leaks, one leg and one opposite upper arm, but these are from seams, and I can live with a little.
Overall I'd totally get a second chroma, the price is perfect and the suit really is perfect.
Time will tell though, as one of my older Quik suits crisped right up after one seasons daily use, but hopefully this neo. blend and their utilization of is improved.
