We bought this suit for our 6-year-old son, because he was freezing so badly during his swim lessons that it was hard for him to participate. I was a bit concerned that the suit might be too loose on him, or that the material would not be warm or flexible enough for swim classes.
My concerns were all wiped out, this is a great buy and absolutely fulfills its purpose. The fit is great, even though our son is really skinny (3'11" tall, 42 lbs). It does not fit so tight that it would need to stretch (there's even some extra room around the hips and thighs), but tight enough to restrict the water from just flowing through, so that it warms up and he stays warm. We ordered size XS, and there's just a little bit of room to grow, enough for probably 1 to 1 1/2 more years of use. The openings at the arms and legs are not all tight, but still just right, even for a very skinny kid.
Putting the suit on, or taking it off, is easy, my son can do it all by himself. The collar at the neck is comfortable and not too high (we had ordered another wetsuit, which was basically the same, just the collar did not fit as well and was a little too high/stiff).
My son also loves the look of the suit, and we got many positive comments from other parents in the swim class. He can now participate in the lessons and does not get cold, and the suit does not restrict his movements.
Care is easy, just rinse, roll up in a towel, and hang dry at home. No visible wear as of yet, after 6 or 7 uses in chlorinated water.

Took this to St. Thomas this spring and both of my boys had one. They worked just fine for swimming and snorkeling!

I bought this for my daughter as a second layer to her 3 mil full length.
We use it for scuba diving in Florida and it is perfect for her second layer and will also be used for summer diving soon.
