Men's Hyperflex AMP3 Long Sleeve Springsuit – 2.5mm

Need a little extra warmth with your springsuit? The 2.5mm Hyperflex AMP3 L/S shorty springsuit is a top of the line offering for the uncompromising user. Unlike most springsuits, the AMP-III is made of a really high grade of superstretch neoprene that is softer and more flexible than other 100% stretch neoprene. The waterproof back zipper (with anti-flush barrier) works together with the sealed seams to keep water from flushing the suit, which keeps you warmer for longer. Completely redesigned this season, the AMP-3 is the warmest and most flexible suit ever produced by the guys up in Jersey. A great buy in our opinion!

I am a slalom skier -- so my needs my vary from others. I used the 2009 model of this suit (black with green/gold lettering) for water temps 50 degrees and above. The old model was watertight (for the time it took for the towrope slack to be taken up) and was snug enough around the thighs to keep water from flushing in when getting up. Sadly, the new suit, although it looks way cooler, doesn't perform as well on either of those counts. It leaks water in almost immediately, and I get a massive water flush when getting up. For the money, I think that the JetPilot Flight long sleeve spring suit (2010 model) was a better buy.
