So far so good. I just purchased the 6/4 wetsuit and have used it three times. After years of using Henderson and HyperFlex suits for kayak surfing year-round in NJ, I wanted to try a suit with more high end features, but I didn't want to break the bank doing it. The Dawn Patrol suit seems to fit the bill. It's definitely more stretchy than the 4 or 5 suits I've used and seems to have some nice features, although the back zip does get stuck fairly easily and I have to be careful with it, particularly when unzipping (on the plus side the back zip is short, but not too short to get in and out easily, and seems to be more watertight than my previous back zip suits). At $200 the suit is as cheap or cheaper than the 5mm suits I've previously purchased, and seems to be of higher quality. Time will tell but, so far, I like it a lot and am likely to switch to the Rip Curl Dawn Patrol lineup (a 3/2 is next) particularly since I prefer winter suits without attached hoods and the selection is limited for 5mm and 6mm thicknesses. I might end up giving this new 6/4 suit 5 stars after a year or so of use but, after 3 times out, I don't yet know how it will hold up over time.
