Hyperflex A3 Surf Series Chest Zip Hooded Wetsuit

The 5/4/3mm Hyperflex AMP-3 is the warmest and most flexible suit ever produced by the guys up in Jersey. Highlighting the AMP-3 is the new AQ3 thermal lined interior fabric which promotes core warmth without sacrificing flexibility. Speaking of flexibility, this beast is made of 100% AmpStretch superstretch neoprene for unrestricted mobility without added bulk. The sealed and liquid taped seams work together with the waterproof chest zipper to eliminate flushing. Any water that does get in will meet its match against the poly fleece firewall lining on the chest, back, and hood. This warm and fuzzy fiber feels great and wicks moisture away from your skin. Awesome suit, awesome price!

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Great Suit Great Price
Reviewer: joe schmoe

The suit is comfortable and warm. it has a great lining all the way down inside that keeps you super warm. not to mention that the chest zip looks impressive and is impressive. the hood has a double string cinch so its very dry if need be. I am going to use for diving and surfing and have been very happy. last but not least i have the largest size because I am 6'4'' and in all honesty its a little snug but it works.

3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Cheap, ill fitting, very warm wetsuit

Its about the cheapest suit you can buy if you need a real wetsuit so it has that going for it. I fit both M and ML in Body Glove, Isurus, and Rip Curl but the Hyperflex ML seems to be about 2 inches too short. It fit ok when i put it on, but once in the water and paddling it rode my balls up into my stomach. I already wore it so can't return it now... Getting in and out is kind of an issue (especially when your hands are numb after a long session). Thought I was gonna get stuck when i couldn't get either arm down far enough to grab the other side, but it has stretched out after a couple weeks. All that being said it still is super warm (as any new 5/4/3 will be). Seams look like theyre going to fail since there are spots missing glue tape, but im looking forward to it a bit since im sweating in 48deg water right now. Its cheap... If you want quality pay for quality

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Very warm, flexible, and no water leakage

I have the amp3 3/2 wetsuit and i was impressed. I purchased the 5/4/3 and i couldn't be happier... warm, comfortable and flexible... i have a billabong foil 5/4/3 sealed, and in my opinion there is no comparison hyperflex is way better suit... Getting the AMP3 on and off was a problem even with the 3/2 suit, so i wear a thin under armor t shirt under the suit, and i can get it on and off without a problem...

this is the most ridiculous entry and exit system i have EVER encountered in a wetsuit. the suit itself is very warm...naturally. it is a hooded 5/4 after all. i cant possibly give this suit a good rating based on the simple fact that they must have taken NO CONSIDERATION WHATSOEVER into getting this suit on and off alone, taking it off especially. i know my size very well and i know what size wetsuits i wear. wearing it is not the issue. its the process that is nearly impossible. i cant believe they wouldnt have put more effort into this. as a side note, their gloves tear very easily. i went through two pairs in a matter of weeks.

Tried this in Alaska, water temp 40deg, air high 30's. Very warm and comfortable. Size fit perfectly from the chart. Couldn't get it off by myself though. Neck/shoulder gasket too tight. Trimmed about 1/4 inch from the right shoulder gasket and never had a problem after that. No problem with leaks either. I'm loving this fabric.
