I got this shirt for my 12 year old son, who is of average height, but very skinny. It is very had to find shirts for kids that come in more than .5 mm neoprene thickness, so I was very thrilled to find this. I ordered it in the size 14, because I wanted him to be able to use it for more than one year. I am glad I did not order it smaller. There is lot of room to grow in the arms, but I wish the torso was longer. It definitely keeps him warm when he is boogie boarding.
