I wore this vest whilew body surfing in the Outer Banks at Avon, North Carolina. It was great protection when the waves washed me up into the sandy beach. I could slide right into the beach without ripping up my stomach or chest.

The vest was sent quickly. The design did not look like the one on the website (grey and black with red lettering). But I like that color better. I conduct kayak tours for about five hours at a time and have found the vest to be comfortable and not restrictive at all. On cold, windy days, I stay warm. Very happy with my purchase. The company included a free koozie with my order!!!
