The sealed and liquid taped seams work together with the waterproof chest zipper to eliminate flushing. Any water that does get in will meet its match against the poly fleece firewall lining on the chest and back. This warm and fuzzy fiber feels great and wicks moisture away from your skin. I ordered the Hyperflex full suit based on good fit with a long-sleeve shorty. (I'm on the way to recovery, but still seriously overweight). The chest entry is more difficult than with the amp shorty (with a simpler zip mechanism and an over-the-head flap that provides a roomier entry), but I find it easier than same-sized Excel or Matuse. So I figure on using the shorty until it's definitely too cold.
This suit was ordered after a cold November. Now we're having a December heat wave and the water's warming up. Little need to even wear a thin vest.

This wetsuit is probably one of the best ones I have ever owned. It is extremely comfortable, flexable, and warm. In my opinion this wetsuit is a better value than any other wetsuit out there.
