I tried these out kiteboarding Christmas Day- 50 degree water, 50 degree air. They were perfect. My hands stayed completely warm. I was able to rig and derig, trim my kite, and pack up all with the gloves on. After my session, I easily rolled them off, and then they dried completely when left inside out overnight. The material looks like regular stretchy neoprene but feels substantially tougher in real life. The lining is soft and warm without being hot and sweaty. As for the fit- I was not sure if the Medium would work when I first put them on and thought seriously about sending them back for a larger pair. I have shortish fingers and wide palms. Most of the time, I get large gloves and just deal with the floppy fingers. I put these on a half dozen times in the house, they were really tight at first but seemed to get more comfortable each time I tried them. By the time I was ready to hit the water, I was pretty sure they would be OK, they were. These are not as flashy as some other gloves I considered, but they work great and will probably last forever. Besides, no one was standing on the beach to comment on my gloves anyway. Special thanks to Wetsuit Warehouse- they go above and beyond, believe me. Not only did they correct my botched orders (you’d think I was typing with the gloves on) but they ponied up and sent me a replacement pair after the post office lost the first set. Awesome.
