My husband and I are more or less the same size so we bought this suit in a small. Been surfing in 55-60 degree and all week and never thought about temperature ever. I'm 5'6' woman and the small fits fine - slightly large in the shoulders but that just means it's easier to paddle in. It's a bit tighter on hubby who is 5'8 and has big shoulders and pecs but he's ok with it.

I did use the suit for a couple of days. It was a little difficult to put on (it was my first wetsuit) and I felt chocked by the collar in the beginning (this worried me the most because I didn't find one single wetsuit that doesn't), but once in the water it felt good and confortable and the chocking sensation went away. It kept me warm and it didn't restrict my moves. Also, wetsuitwearhouse did a gread job in allowing me to try on different wetsuits and accessories in the comfort of my own home. Their return policy is absolutely magnificent. I'm very happy with my purchase and with the entire experience ordering from this website.
