Patagonia R5 Wetsuit Booties

Patagonia boots are made of high-end Japanese superstretch neoprene for an amazing flexibility in the water. The exterior is made of smoothskin to deflect wind, and the interior is merino wool lined for superior warmth, and moisture wicking. Seams are sealed to keep cold water out. Fine grip sole provides traction without sacrificing dexterity.

7mm boots are generally appropriate for 35-40 degrees and up

Sizing Note: These boots run one size small. Consider ordering one size up from your normal size.

Patagonia does wetsuits differently. They stand behind every product with a lifetime warranty (does not cover wear and tear, of course.)

I chose these boots because I already have Patagonia gloves and they are really good quality. I had another pair of boots and they only lasted 2 seasons. These are definitely higher quality. They are true to size and nice and warm. To date I've used them in 38 degree water on a 40 degree day. The wool that Patagonia uses really makes a difference in warmth. Only downside is that they can really smell after using them in saltwater- just be sure to rinse them out after every use. My only issue with them is that they are a little difficult to get on and off. Would be nice if they had another loop to grab towards the top of the ankle cuff.
