The Thermoprene wetsuit line is Henderson's bread and butter, and for good reason. The line gives the user excellent performance at an affordable price. All products in the line are constructed using Henderson's signature Thermoprene neoprene. This neoprene boasts 180% super stretch, giving the user a lot of flexibility and comfort. The neoprene is laminated with pill and abrasion resistant fabric for durability. All seams are sealed, meaning glued and blindstitched to prevent cold water from entering the suit. Edges at the cuffs are lycra trimmed for comfort and chafe resistance.
The 8/7mm Front Zip suit is the closest thing to a dry suit without all the hassle and expense. The entire suit is glued and double blind stitched (sealed) for optimum durability and protection from water entry. Flex panels are 7mm for better movement. The large front zipper allows the diver to enter and exit the suit without assistance. An integrated water barrier also aids in getting into the suit by holding the suit in place while you get the hood pulled over the head. Zippered wrists and ankles make getting your hands and feet into the suit a breeze and the rubber seals behind the zippers make the suit almost completely dry. A flow vent allows trapped air to escape the hood and durable knee pads round out the package.
This suit pairs very well with the Henderson's Aqualock line. Check it out here. By combining these products, you will experience a truly semi-dry experience from head-to-toe!

Great Cold Water Suit!

Just used this suit for a weekend of dives at a quarry where the water was 50-55F at the surface and down to 41F at depth. Divers in drysuits were miserable all weekend; I was never cold! The suit's tough to get on the first time, but try several times to work the zipper. Worked great after that!

I dove with this suit in a quarry this weekend. Water was between 50F at the surface and 41F at 80 feet. People with me were lamenting the cold despite their drysuits and warm under layers. I wore my Henderson 8/7mm semidry suit with a lycra base layer over 5 dives on 2 days and never felt cold in the water. Combined with Henderson's 7mm Aqua-lock gloves and boots, this suit worked exactly as I'd hoped.
