Men's XCEL ThermoFlex Back Zipper

The 7/6mm ThermoFlex dive wetsuit keeps you warm, flexible, and super comfortable by integrating lots of high end features. 100% superstretch neoprene gives you maximum freedom of movement in and out of the water, while sealed seams keep cold water from flushing the suit. The warm and fuzzy ThermoBamboo poly fleece lining wicks moisture from the skin while retaining valuable body heat. A bonus feature on the 7/6mm version is the addition of XCEL's DryLock wrist seals to prevent flushing. The convenient ankle zippers also have an integrated anti-flush dam to ensure a good seal. Also features duraflex kneepads, and an adjustable collar.

XCEL Wetsuits are environmentally conscious, featuring limestone based neoprene and glue. This green approach to wetsuit development eliminates oil-consuming processes, using hydro-electric power and waste energy instead. 1 year warranty on wetsuits. 3 month warranty on lycra, boots, gloves, and hoods.

I was a little unsure about buying before trying, but the customer service rep I talked to assured me that I had a month to return at no cost to me if it didn't fit, but this suit fits perfectly! It keeps the cold out (54 degrees F) and with hood and booties I don't even need gloves to stay warm. Sometimes a little bit of cold water fills the gap along the spine, but that was to be expected. On top of all of that and their already excellent pricing, they gave me a substantial active-duty military discount w/o me even asking for it. Very satisfied customer, will buy from Wetsuit Wearhouse next time for sure.

First dive with suit was in 61 degree water at the surface, felt very warm could not wait to hit the thermocline which diped down to 52 degrees. Suit kept me very comfortable. Easy to get in and out of. Suit allowed full range of motion without feeling constricted. All in all Im glad I spent a little more to get a quality piece of equipment.

For a 7/6mm suit I was surprised at the amount of flex the suit has. The collar, cuffs and ankles all seem to seal well, the full lining is comfortable, I haven't seen the need for a rash guard. I seem to get a little flushing on the back zipper. The padded back zipper is comfortable for tank diving. If you ad a diving vest/hood combo you are good to go. Knee pads are fabric, not as rugged as molded materials, a concern if you have to crawl in rough surf with tanks. Factor in the price with the negatives for four stars.
