Reviewer: Dan

Got this wet suit for that exact reason it is named dawn patrol. Surfing in so cal early mornings is cold and my 3/2 although good just didn't keep warm enough for all the time spent in the water. At first try I could tell it was going to be warmer, in fact by the time the sun started to shine and warn up I was hot. 3hours in the water and I was fine. Perfect for my needs. Con- The extra flap in the back helps to keel you warm but also bunches up in the back and I feel is a annoying feature that is not needed. over all I am very please with suit and service

The suit is still a just a bit tight in the shoulders, but its breaking in nicely! surfed it 3 times so far and its loosening up. its warm enough for central cal. in march. Good suit for the money im 6.1 215 lbs the suit I bought it the XXL. Hope this helps?

I ordered this suit because I was using a 2/3 before and it was getting plenty chilly in the winter mornings in Southern California. I've worn this suit 3 times since I received it and the level of warmth between this and the 2/3 is day and night. What's best about this suit is the price! Stay warm for cheaper - can't lose.

Reviewer: Nick

I don't have a lot of experience in wearing or buying wetsuits, so I really didn't know what to expect. In terms of price range it wasn't nearly as expensive as some of the suits and it didn't have a zipper barrier so I was a bit nervous that it would let cold water in or wouldn't be as warm as I need (I'm on the skinny side so tend to get cold sooner than most). But so far it has exceeded all my expectations. When I tried it out earlier this week I was shivering in the 45 degree morning air and expected at least an initial "cold rush" upon getting in the water, but was surprised at being completely comfortable from the get go inside the suit, though my feet were cold. Water temp wasn't too low, about 62 degrees, but much colder water is certainly within the suit's comfort range. Fits great, appears to be good quality. I'm sure there are warmer suits with more features out there but I can't imagine you'll find a better one for the price.

This suit is worth the money. Sizing was true to the chart. It's comfortable and didn't flush at the neck at all. Very warm in upper 50 degree waters.
