The UPF Rating (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is 50+ for maximum sun protection. A boardshort connector on the front allows you to attach to your trunks to keep the top from bunching up.

I live in Atlanta and goes to the pool almost every day at "sun peak hours". It protects good against the sun. It fits tight what I usually don't like, But I prefer the fact that by going into the water, it doesn't go up. I ordered one size more than what I usually wear. Also the service with wetsuitwearhouse was very satisfying - good price relationship - no shipping fee and quick shipping.

I spent two weeks wearing this shirt everyday for body surfing and snorkling. It was great for sun protection and extremely comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that the shirt would ride up while I was playing in the waves (I ordered a medium which fit perfectly).
