The 4/3mm Men's XCEL INFINITI DRYLOCK Fullsuit with dual barrier system is the recipient of the SIMA Wetsuit of the Year Award! If you want every feature known to man, this is your suit. Water stays out thanks to a combination of Drylock gaskets at wrists, ankles, and neck, plus a waterproof chest zipper. The horizontal chest zip also has an inside seal, and has been reconfigured for easier on/off. The Infiniti Drylock features 100% water repellant neoprene that absorbs less water than traditional suits, leaving you with ultimate stretch and minimal bulk. The seams are sealed and taped to keep cold water from trickling in, and the inside is lined with XCEL's enviro conscious bamboo fleece which wicks moisture from your skin. Also features: Less panels and seams for greater flexibility, wind resistant chest, durable kneepads, and abrasion-resistant fibers that resist damage over time.
Go green and go warm! All XCEL Infiniti products feature a unique bamboo-infused lining, a neoprene engineered from recycled yarns with the goal of reducing the amount of materials that ultimately end up in landfills. This green approach to wetsuit development complements Xcel's longstanding initiative of using limestone-based neoprene and glue, which eliminates oil-consuming processes, using hydro-electric power and waste energy instead. 1 year warranty on wetsuits. 3 month warranty on lycra, boots, gloves, and hoods.

Acceptable high end suit -- challenge to remove by yourself

I evaluated three different 4/3 suits: Oneil Psycho 3, Oneil Heat, and Xcel Infinity Drylock. Each was used for a slalom waterski session with the lake temp and air temp around 60 degrees. You can see my detailed reviews for each suit under their respective product sections.
The Xcel gave a decent overall impression and is an acceptable high-end suit. It was a little challenging to put on by myself but required assistance from another person to get it over my shoulders to remove it. Perhaps someone with less broad shoulders could remove the suit better than I could. The front zip concept worked well and seemed to effectively eliminate water seepage thru the zip. However, a small amount of water did leak thru the seals to reach my skin in the chest area. The neoprene is somewhat flexible and provided more compression to my body that I cared for. I imagine if you like wearing compression gear when you work out this might feel great, but if you want a more relaxed feel you should check out the Oneil products, specifically the Psycho 3 which is in the same price range as the Drylock. I rate this suit as “acceptable” and I declined to purchase it. I’m very happy with the excellent support provided by Dave M at Wetsuit Wearhouse who allowed me to evaluate several suits to help me determine the best one for me (Psycho). I definitely recommend Wetsuit Warehouse to my friends for the great service!!
