General cut is for your average in shape waterman/surfer. Construction is excellent with ubgrades and options available. Bought mine from the excel shop in Haleiwa for years. Excel is the number one choice in Hawaii and world over... You want the best buy the best! ...J.L.
Great fitting suit for a big guy!

I am 6'4" and 255lbs. Needless to say, finding the right sized wetsuit hasn't been easy. Xcel seemed to be the only manufacturer that had suits for big men. Even though some carried 3XL, they still were snug. I just received this wetsuit today and it fits like a custom made suit with lots of stretch and space in all the right spots. Can't wait for warmer weather now! Shipping to Canada was quick and painless as well. Nicely done Wetsuitwarehouse!

I'm 5'7 and 168lbs. I usually struggle with wetsuit fit because I have larger than usual legs. This springsuit (XCEL SLX Shorty) in a size ML fits me like a glove and it has to do with the flexibility of the material and the way they're cut. To top it off, my partner who is a tad (~2 inches) taller than I am, also fits perfectly into this shorty and we got another one. Remarkable range I'd say. I use this suit primarily for kitesurfing and it works perfectly with a waist or seat harness. To sum it up, this is a superior product.
