As their name suggests, drysuits are designed to keep you totally dry in cold water. A men's drysuit or women's drysuit is an alternative to a wetsuit and functions in a different way. A tight-fitting wetsuit allows some water into the suit; that thin layer of water is heated by the wearer's body and helps to insulate against the loss of body heat. In contrast, a watersport drysuit keeps all water out. Flexible rubber seals and waterproof zippers create a watertight layer. Drysuits are constructed to keep out water and block the wind so you can stay warm and comfortable, even when water temperatures drop. A watersport drysuit can be used for wakeboarding, waterskiing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. Our drysuits are not suitable for SCUBA use.

Choosing a Watersport Drysuit

The looser fit of a men's drysuit or women's drysuit allows for more flexibility in choosing your base layer. Although watersport drysuits are waterproof, they are not insulated. You can use regular active wear, like sweatpants, or a poly-fleece base layer to give you added warmth.  Drysuits are designed to be baggy, and this can make choosing the right size difficult. Please see our unisex size chart to ensure that you are ordering the right size.
