I tried these instead of the H2O brand I usually wear. These are thinner, so good for warm water. They fit well under my wetsuit and are comfortable. My fins tend to move around because of the thinness, though, causing friction on one of my toes.

Reviewer: Jay Hanson in Hawaii   |  5-27-2014

I use these socks with your "1.5mm Men's NeoSport XSPAN Wetsuit Pants." The wetsuit is perfect for long distance ocean swimming. The socks give me a little buoyancy in the back end, and protect my feet when I get out on the rocks. When these socks wear out I will get another pair just like these.

Sure hope that all the reviews are correct. Maybe now these old feet can walk without hurting on the hard shell beaches we so love to walk on.

I purchased these socks to go under fins while I body board. By themselves, they don't do much insulating because they let too much water in around the ankle area. However, when put on underneath the ankle of a wetsuit, they work perfectly! They keep my feet warm and protected from any irritation caused by the fin.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 second time around.
    Reviewer: Jose   |  3-27-2013

this is the second time i buy this product, unfortunately my first pair was stolen with my backpack and i had to have them again. I use them for bodydording and when i go to the sierra in Baja California Mexico in winter time, the temperature is below zero and some times it snows. so in order to wear the appropriate hiking shoes for the terrain and keep my feet worm i wear them over my sock and they work grat; that way I keep my feet dry and worm.

    Reviewer: William   |  5-8-2012

I bought these with the hope that they would help to keep my feet at a higher temperature while caving in spring water caves. They did not seem to disappoint. I end up wearing them inside a normal pair of socks in boots while caving, and they definitely helped to maintain much more comfortable temperature than without them. Good tool for the job I needed them for.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Great for winter spongers.
    Reviewer: Paul Van   |  12-10-2010

I am a winter sponger and actually have a pair of fins that I don't like but am forced to use in the winter because I can't fit bootys into them without cramping the heck out of my feet. No fun, but with these swim socks I can use my normal fins without getting feet cramps. They are thick enough to keep my feet warm but thin enough to fit comfortably in my fins. I am a little concerned with how long they will last, as I am noticing somewhat rapid wear on the bottoms from walk accross the parking lot and sand.
