5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 I have achieved peak kook, but at least I can surf again
    Reviewer: JDeight   |  11-30-2015

I have an inflammatory disease that causes pain in my hands and wrists. It is much worse when they are cold, and it's gotten so bad that I couldn't stay out in colder water. I bought these and holy smokes do they ever work! My hands are toasty and warm the whole time, and I can stay out as long as I want. I fold the cuff of my suit down over the cuff of the gloves so there's no flushing, and I can feel warm water run down into my suit if I raise my hands. I can surf again, but, man, do I ever look ridiculous.

they ripped in 3 sessions between my pointer and middle finger. Do not buy, very poor quality.

I use these for surfing in NJ winter. Dexterity is better than I expected. Some water does seep in but it hasn't been a problem. Can't comment on durability yet. I would give them a fifth star if they were water tight at the wrists, maybe with a cinch strap.

    Reviewer: Terence Anderson   |  1-20-2014

Within 6 months of purchase and used for normal longboard surfing, the grasping surfaces of this glove had abraded to the point of requiring patching. Guess what? Patches won't readily adhere to the grasping surfaces. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

    Reviewer: Andrey Svetliy   |  11-1-2011

5 mm is not a joke. Tried to use them last week, but it was too warm, so I had to take them out. Anyway, good price, fast shipping, excellent service.

    Reviewer: Riz   |  1-25-2011

A little weird getting used to your pinky finger not being able to roam free. But it sure did keep me warm. Great grip pattern they setup on the glove as well. Holds up great in the water. I've tried tucking it under the sleeve of my suit as well as wearing it on the outside of my suit sleeve. Both ways seem to work about as well. They both let in some water; but the water warms up nicely against your skin.

    Reviewer: Matt L.   |  11-15-2010

I use these gloves for kiteboarding, and so far have kept me warm. Air temp. low 40's and water surface temp. 52°F. I was able to handle all my gear with out a problem, it is nice having the index finger free. Mine fit really snug, so it takes a little more effort to get them back on if they are wet. Overall great glove.
