Although I'm no expert on the thickness of rubber, right out of the bag this suit "felt" cheaper than the last one I bought (same model) a couple of years ago. The rubber was noticeably thinner to the touch, especially around the armholes, outer chest area, and neck. In fact the collar area does not have the same nice padding as my older model. While I have not gained any weight, this suit, size M, does not fit as well and is tighter than my older model - tighter not in a good way. It is also shorter in the legs, again, not in a good way. The suit even smells "rubbery." This is something I never noticed with my older suit. I assume (hope?) that over time the smell will go away. My older suit has the usual inner "white area" where you can write you name and contact information if you happen to leave your suit behind. This suit does not even have that feature. Next time I'm looking for this type of suit, I'll probably stick with ROKA, BlueSeventy, TYR, etc. It's too bad that NeoSport let the quality slip on this one. But for around 85.00 bucks I guess I got what I paid for and I will use the suit this summer. I would have rated it 2.5 stars but did not have this option on the drop down menu.

After just renting a $400 wetsuit from the local tri shop for $50, I decided buying this one for $100 couldn't be that bad. IMO, it fit just as good as the other, seemed to have more buoyancy and a better "glide" in the water. It dried very quick. Looked good. Would buy the same thing again, great "deal" when you get something just as good for 25% the cost.

This wet suit is nice. It fits well and is easy to get on and off. I am not much of a swimmer, but it helps keep you warm and somewhat buoyant. I have been swimming in 60 degree water and not felt cold in it.

I got this wetsuit as a Large for me. I am about 5'7 or so, 165 lbs, with a 43 inch chest. I got the large because the chest size was too small on the medium. Wore the wetsuit for my first triathlon sprint about a week ago and I was lightning in the water. People were complaining of how difficult the current was, and I was cutting through it like butter! The suit is great, however, I had some extra slack when it came to length since it was a size up on me. I have many kinds of surf wetsuits, however this is my first Tri wetsuit. I like its features, construction seems decent, and there is a nice little patch on the bottom where you can attach your zip cord to your suit so its easy to reach when you're done with your swim. If you're looking to get a first suit, this is your best bet. Its super floaty, has a comfortable feel, and the price does not break the bank. I only gave it four stars since I have no other experience with other triathlon wetsuits. BUY!

Was undecided on whether or not to buy a wetsuit for my upcoming triathlon. I am glad I did. Swimming in the ocean is significantly easier in the wetsuit. It is easy to put on and take off by yourself. Seems like it is made with quality but can't testify to this as I have not had it for long. I am 6'1", 190 and the large fits fine.

Getting ready for my first triathlon sprint and also wanted to add swimming to my workouts. I swim in Lake Michigan and wanted to extend my season as well as increase my buoyancy for deeper water (I sink like a stone when I stop moving. This suit is fantastic it's every bit as good as more expensive suit my friend bought. It is comfortable and provides the bouancy and warmth I was looking for. I am 6'1" and 195lbs and the large fits great though I suspect a xl would have worked as well.

After doing my 1st tri without a wetsuit I decided I needed to find something affordable and easier to get off than a full suit I had tried on at REI. I'm 5'9 and 174# with a 41 inch chest so I ordered the large and it fit very nicely. it felt tight in the chest but I guess thats normal for a wetsuit. My wife is a hardcore blue seventy user and was a tad nervous about a $100 suit she'd never heard of so I was happy to see a few people wearing NeoSport suits at practice and after talking to them they have all sorts of good things to say about their suits which varied in age from a year to four years old.
