Description

6.5/5mm Men's Patagonia R5 YULEX F/Z Hooded Fullsuit

For those willing to explore freezing water temps, this 6.5/5mm Men's R5 YULEX F/Z Hooded Fullsuit from Patagonia is just for you! Featuring neoprene-free Yulex as well as chlorine-free synthetic rubber, this hooded fullsuit is stretchy and warm. Speaking of warm, the suit is lined with an inverted microgrid thermal lining in the torso/thighs/hood that's lightweight, dries fast and has excellent flexibility. Meanwhile, the arms and legs are lined with a solution-dyed, high-stretch 100% recycled polyester jersey lining which improves flexibility as well as drying time. The sealed and taped seams prevent cold water seeping in and the hood (for extra warmth) has an adjustable opening with a cord lock. Other features include Supratex kneepads, ankle cuffs and a floating/asymmetrical front zipper.

Yulex is a line of neoprene-free wetsuits crafted from natural rubber and hypoallergenic materials. These sustainably made and fair-trade wetsuits are warm, flexible and durable. The renewable Yulex material comes from hevea trees and is a great replacement to conventional and skin-irritating neoprene. If you experience dermatological reactions to neoprene, a Yulex wetsuit is definitely worth checking out. Learn more about Yulex from our neoprene allergies and hypoallergenic wetsuits blog post.

Allergy notice: It's rare, but neoprene (wetsuits) and/or the materials used in its construction can cause allergic skin reactions. If allergic, discontinue use and consult a physician.
