You may think you only need to wear a wetsuit when the water temperatures turn cold. The truth is that a wetsuit does more than keep you warm - it also provides protection against abrasion and harmful UV rays. There are mens wetsuits to match any conditions. Not sure how to choose from our range of surfing wetsuits? The thickness of the neoprene, measured in millimeters, is a guide; some suits have two or more thicknesses in the same suit, with the thicker material used to provide core warmth for the torso.
Mens surfing wetsuits of 1mm and 2mm are good for water temperatures of 70 degrees and higher. A 3/2mm wetsuit is recommended for 60 to 69 degree water; 4/3mm for 52 to 69 degree water; 5/4/3mm for 45 to 51 degree water. If you plan to extend your season and continue surfing even when water temperatures drop, consider a 6/5/4mm hooded suit, which can be worn in water temperatures as low as 35 degrees. Just use the filters to the left to help narrow your search by thickness, sport, and features.
Surfing wetsuits aren't just for surfing. A wetsuit provides warmth and protection and can be worn for any surface watersport. Whether you're surfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, kayaking, or enjoying a recreational swim in the ocean, there is a mens wetsuit to meet your needs. At Wetsuit Wearhouse, we offer a large variety of mens wetsuits, including in big and tall sizes, from all of the major brands. We also carry SCUBA and triathlon wetsuits and shorty wetsuits.
